Start your Mysore one day trip from the blessings of Goddess Chamundeshwari

Our Taxi will reach to your place in the morning to pick you up for the one day trip. After breakfast at the hotel of your choice, we would like to take you the Chamundi Hills. The presiding deity of the Chamundi Hills is Goddess Chamundeshweri. Every Friday more than half of mysoreans visit chamundi hills to seek the blessings from the goddess. There are two routes to visit the hills, the first option is by the road where our car takes you till the temple, and after the darshan, you can move to the next tourist attraction. The second option is by climbing the steps from the Chamundi foothills. If you are below 40 years you can opt to trek to the hill top by climbing 1008 steps to the hills. It will be a memorable experience if you start trekking by 6 am. Our vehicle will pick you up from your place and drop to the foothill and from there you have to start climbing the steps. Halfway through the steps you will come across 350 years old a single stone statue of Nandi.

There is a strong belief in native mysoreans that this Nandi statue is growing day by day. By the time you reach the statue you will find some shops where you can buy tender coconuts, fruits which helps you ease your fatigue. You can relax there for some time and continue the trek. After climbing a few steps, you will reach the viewpoint where you can have a complete view of Mysore city. Moving on from there you will reach the temple tower.

There is one free darshan facility, one special entry darshan of Rs.100/- is available. You can opt for either option. It will take roughly 3 hours for the darshan. Meanwhile our vehicle will reach the hills and be waiting for you to take to the next tourist attraction sand museum.
