There is no need to go to some forest or national park. It’s all there in our own Mysore city. The world-famous Mysore zoo was established in the year 1892 spread around the area of 157 acres by the animal lover ruler of Mysore Kingdom Jayachamarajendra Wodeyar. People of Mysore could hear the roar of Lions and Elephants during the night till the early ’90s. Children would sleep in fear of them. Even we have observed the sounds of them. Unfortunately, due to pollution it is not possible to hear those sounds nowadays. This Zoo is located in the heart of the city which makes it easily accessible rom anywhere in Mysore. Electronic car facility is also available to roam inside the Zoo. NOTE: Feeding the animals is strictly prohibited. We Mysore one day trip suggest you to go for this animal watching in the morning time since animal watching in the morning is one incredible experience. Next, we will move to the chief attraction of all the tourist spot of Mysore The Mysore Palace, also known as Amba Vilas Palace.
